The car is back from Powedercoating and the results are spectacular. Bright
red with grey hammertone accents. Here's some shots of the re-assembly and
turbocharger buildup:

The interior. Mike took a cheap 3-hole aluminum console and had a long
piece welded to it to make a car-length console to cover the shift rod,
brake tubes and wiring. |

These are the welded and match ported end castings for the single Weber
44 carburetor that will be used in the blow-through turbo setup. Plans
for a dual carb blow through were scrapped when Mike discovered how worn
the throttle shafts were in the carbs he had been using. |
