Part 1.5

SAND DEMON!

22 July 2000

The frame has arrived! Mike and I picked it up from Tatum Motorsports and loaded it onto the trailer, then carried it off into the street for some pictures. As pictured, the frame and suspension weighs only a couple hundred pounds - easily carried by two people. The entire thing is made of 4130 chromoly, very strong and lightweight. The workmanship on this car is exceptional, the geometry is beautiful, the welding is a work of art and the fit of the tubing and suspension pieces is exact.

Rear dual-pivot trailing arm. A cool machined billet hub bolts to the hole in the trailing arm and a dual rate coil-over shock suspends the car.  Rear Trailing arm
