Back view of the car. Everything is in place and working!
There are future plans for a wing to cover the radiator. |
|
|
|
From here you can see the big purple console between the
seats. There's a closer frontal view following... |
|
The front of the car showing the five headlights |
|
The front driver's side suspension: upper and lower a-arms
and dual rate coil-over shocks. The clutch, brake and gas pedal
assembly can be seen through the frame. |
|
Here's the driver's side view. The car has a slight rear
end squat with these tires on it, but when the paddle tires
are installed it sits level. |
|
The rear shock and a pretty good shot of the radiator and
header. |
|
This is the jet-hot ceramic coated header with integral
supertrapp muffler. The exhaust note sings beautifully at 8000
rpm. |
|
The engine was running when this pic was taken. Here you
can see the radiator and dual electric fans, the header, radiator
tubes, rear suspension, etc....... |
|
The battery and a pair of purple ammo boxes to hold tools
and emergency supplies. |
|
This is the console that houses the tachometer, speedometer,
oil pressure and water temp guages. The vertical switch plate
contains all the switches for off-road, while the horizontal
switch plate is for blinkers, street head and tail lights, wiper,
horn and the switch to turn on the amplifier to drive the speakers.
The little pouch on the lower left of the console contains an MP3 player for
tunes in the dunes. Its got no moving parts, it uses a USB cable to
hook to your home computer and you download a couple of hours of music onto
its internal memory. It hooks up to the hidden amplifier via the
headphone port. |
|
Looking down on the engine shows the 4 mikuni carburetors
on the top of the picture, the purple valve cover, radiator and
the header. |
|
Here's another shot of the mikuni carbs. |
